How can we help?

First, add a location and its hourly rate in ShiftPay; every shift needs a location. Then tap + to add a shift. Choose its date, start and end times, break length, and optional end-of-shift reminder. You will see previews of your hours and estimated pay as you edit.

ShiftPay includes 3 sample locations and 7 sample shifts to explore. To remove them all, go to Settings → Data → Clear All and confirm. The app keeps its first-launch marker, so it will not add sample data again. You can also delete shifts or locations one at a time.

In Settings, export a JSON backup through the iOS share sheet, such as to Files. To restore, choose a backup file; ShiftPay replaces all current data in one step. Keep your backup somewhere safe because there is no cloud copy.

A reminder requires a future shift with a reminder set for 15, 30, or 60 minutes before the end, plus iOS notification permission. ShiftPay asks for permission only when you enable a reminder. If reminders still do not arrive, check iPhone Settings → Notifications → ShiftPay. Reminders are local to your device.

No. ShiftPay estimates every pay figure; they are not payroll or tax advice. For each shift, hours over 8 are estimated at 1.5× your rate. Net pay uses the tax rate you set. For exact pay, check your payslip or ask your employer.
